The Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) is a New York State initiative that allows Medicaid recipients to choose their caregivers—whether it’s a family member, friend, or someone they trust. Health Aide makes it easy for caregivers working with CenterLight participants to enroll in CDPAP and start earning today.

CenterLight Healthcare’s Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is designed to help seniors remain safely in their homes and communities. With a dedicated healthcare team—including physicians, nurses, social workers, and rehab specialists—PACE participants receive personalized, high-quality care tailored to their needs. Whether it’s medical, social, or rehabilitation services, PACE ensures complete care for a better quality of life.
Who Can Be a Caregiver?
Eligibility Requirements to Become a Paid Caregiver
- Family members, friends, or neighbors can apply (excluding spouses).
- Must be providing care for a Medicaid participant enrolled in CenterLight Healthcare.
- No certification or formal training required—just compassion and commitment.

Competitive Hourly Rate:
Caregivers earn $21.50 per hour.

Sick Leave Benefits:
For every 30 hours worked, you accumulate 1 hour of paid sick leave, with a maximum of 56 hours per year.

Sick leave is paid at the same $21.50 rate.

Weekly Direct Deposit:
Caregivers receive their pay weekly via direct deposit.
